    sudo apt-get install christmas

    December 14th, 2008

By my watch and calendar, it would seem to be around three months since my last post here! Not a good sign at all for my readers! I am so dreadfully sorry, I’ll try to keep myself updating this magical place as often as possible. Now to figure out how to implement the Twitter API…

    What? MUDKIP is evolving!

    September 28th, 2008

    He’s big…

    He’s blue…

    He’s BACK!

Sorry, I watched Aladdin the other day so I had to begin with Genie’s opening line from the sequel, Aladdin 2: The Return of Jafar. Unfortunately, it is a victim of Disney’s old direct-to-video regime, so it seems to depend on quantity rather than quality. Nevertheless, hello.

Much of the past week ahs been spent fighting beating Chris at Super Smash Bros. Brawl and, as a later result of getting annoyed at it bored of the endless victories, struggling through the Level 1 run of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+. (So far, I am currently at the 1000 Heartless battle. Demyx is so annoying to beat… but so cool!) Before anyone asks me (which I doubt they will anyway) my favourite character to play as in Brawl is Pikachu, but my favourite Final Smash is Sonic’s or Zelda’s. I hardly ever see anyone play as a Pikachu, though. Read the rest of this entry »

    Rocky’s Return

    September 21st, 2008

It’s quite hard writing blog posts. It’s not that nothing happens to me, it’s that it slips away from me when I try to remember it. Regardless of that fact, there’s no excuse for my complete lack of ‘news’ for the past 2 months. So I’ll try to make this one especially good, like one of my previous extravaganza catch-up posts.

Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.

    June 2nd, 2008

It’s been a month already? I guess I should have been updating this instead of playing endless amounts of Mario Kart Wii. Here’s some more vaguely entertaining news, to keep you vaguely entertained.

    Auf wiedersehen, Kai!

    May 2nd, 2008

This last week has been one of many surprises - mainly due to the fact that me and (most of) my family were hosting my German exchange partner, Kai. Just look at the name, people - KAI! The name itself is cool. Heck, it could probably get a few good albums out there, but the real coolness lay behind the name. Read the rest of this entry »

    Tutorials galore

    April 15th, 2008

Yet another month has gone by when I didn’t post anything, but luckily I have a lot to write and talk about so I hope it makes up for it.

    Work Experience and Kubuntu

    March 17th, 2008

The week is over. Some of you might know that I went to Brookside Primary School for a week, since the school didn’t get me an IT position anywhere. It was still really good fun however, and I got to know the kids quite well. As per usual, there were a few who just didn’t listen to anything or called me over just for the sake of it. But overall it was a fantastic place, and I hope I can go there again for the JSLA (Junior Sports Leader Award).

    Update of the Month

    March 11th, 2008

Sorry I haven’t posted here. I can’t say I’ve been busy because I haven’t, so I’ll admit that I just couldn’t be bothered to type out something that happened. Not the best attitude but, hey, it works for me. ;)

    The DS returns

    February 25th, 2008

My DS got back! It actually was re-delivered a day after my last post, and since then I have played and completed Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, which is a fantastic game, and I’ve bought Pokemon Diamond. If you want my friend code for any of these, send me an email with your codes and I’ll give it to you. Read the rest of this entry »
